Senior Clinical Director, Las Vegas, NV, Ph.D. Clinical Director needed for Nevada behavioral healthcare hospital. The Clinical Director directly supervises all clinical staff. The Clinical Director provides indirect supervision over front office support staff and medical records department personnel. The Clinical Director interacts with all staff. S/he also interacts with all contract therapists both on-site and off-site in relation to authorizations for services.  MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS: Education:  Master’s Degree or Ph.D. in counseling or psychology.  State licensure as a Clinical Psychologist, Marriage and Family Therapist, or Licensed Clinical Social Worker. Experience:  A minimum of five (5) years of counseling experience is required.  In addition, at least two (2) years of experience as a clinical supervisor is required. Specific Skills:  Knowledge of provision of clinical services in managed care settings, supervisory techniques, budgeting processes, quality improvement processes, and utilization management.  Ability to write concise, clear reports and compile, analyze and summarize statistical data.  Ability to communicate clearly and effectively, provide leadership to a variety of individuals and to act independently with good judgment. Specialized Knowledge, Licenses, etc:  Master’s Degree or Ph.D. in counseling or psychology.  State licensure as a Clinical Psychologist, Marriage and Family Therapist, or Licensed Clinical Social Worker.
